Under the theme of “Artistic Splendours”, this exhibition brings together 49 outstanding artists from China and Singapore in the ‘First Front’ in the field of contemporary art, with 133 pieces of artworks on display. The exhibition consists of four chapters, namely ‘Homeland’, ‘Culture’, ‘Life’ and ‘Urban Future’. Through the continuous creation of Chinese and Singaporean artists in different cultural backgrounds and historical imprints, the exhibition highlights the development and revitalisation of China and Singapore over the past 30 years and the profound humanistic exchanges between the two countries, while at the same time looks forward to a new era of high-quality co-operation and a ‘bright future’ in the 30 years to come.
