The Rolling Stone installation effortlessly introduces the natural landscape of rocks into the museum's interior. These flying rocks are indicative of the unpredictable and dramatic reality of the forces of nature. Through viewing from a distance, observing up-close and displacement of perspective - looking straight on, up, or down - viewers can experience scenes of meteorites, coal, dust storms, stacked garden rocks and the multi-layered interpretations from traditional literati on stone stacking, composition and appreciation. The work is intended to explore the boundary between the simulation of nature and artistic work, and the variations in the interpretation system caused by uncertainty of objects.
